The term GMO means Genetically Modified Organism. The process revolves when you alter or modify a plant, crop, bacteria or food source of another organism through genetic engineering. A spider’s DNA can be put in an arachnid and the result is beyond belief. It will produce silk. According to a survey 50% of agricultural crops in US are genetically engineered. There are many people who are in for and many against it. In fact, there are many that are not in favour of it. They are hazardous for the livestock and farming will bring hazardous effects to the environment. In Europe and Japan GMO is banned.  GMO foods are resistant to pesticides and insecticides. The people who are in favor of GMO food are of the view that it will increase the amount of products we have with relatively lower prices.
